PokeSurvivor Builds: Moves, Items and Partner Choices

A PokeSurvivor build is not just a partner name. It is the active move, its evolution card, the held item and the stats you bring into the run. Start with the problem you want the build to solve.

How a build works

  1. Pick the goal. Survive a rift, farm coins and tickets, clear crowded waves, or support a co-op group.
  2. Choose the active move. Only the active move normally fires; the others are options, not passive damage.
  3. Plan the evolution. Reach level 5, take the required stat card in the same run, then select the golden card.
  4. Choose one held item. Damage, survival, speed and farming items compete for the same slot.
  5. Check the partner. HP, speed, attack multiplier and starting move decide what the build can safely do.

The tier list is the shortlist; the move table is the evolution reference; the item page is the trade-off table.

Build by goal

Rifts and bosses

Favor reliable range or coverage, a defensive item, and a partner that can reposition. A glass-cannon build can win a normal wave and still lose a rift to one telegraphed hit.

Farming coins and tickets

Use a build that can finish safely with Amulet Coin or Lucky Egg. These items do nothing in combat, so the partner and move must carry the run without their help.

Co-op

Cover a different type and range from your friends. Shared experience means a support role can still level, but one player should not chase pickups away from the group.

Starter builds

The 29 starters are ranked separately from the full roster. Use thestarter table to compare HP, speed, attack and starting move, then choose a move that matches the stat you are leaning on. There is no single starter that wins every run.

Example builds

  • Gengar build — fast Ghost/Poison attacker with Shadow Ball.

More partner pages will be added only where there is a distinct move/item decision. The rest belong in thePokémon entries.

Common build mistakes

  • Assuming every equipped move fires at once.
  • Taking a random stat card and then wondering why the golden evolution card never appears.
  • Using Choice Band on a build that needs to switch moves.
  • Farming with Amulet Coin or Lucky Egg before the build can survive the run.
  • Choosing a partner only by tier and ignoring the starting move.

Rules are checked against the official game guide. Numbers use a fixed snapshot of the developer’sPokémon data, move data andstarter list. Move names and evolution cards follow the official English catalog. Recommendations are our interpretation of those rules and numbers; they are not measured win rates. Later game updates may change them.
